"I stayed at this motel after arriving late on the ferry from Prince Rupert. Check-in was quick, with a friendly welcome from the hostess and a greeting from her two pets. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. Keep in mind that this is a motel, not a luxury hotel, so set your expectations accordingly. The room decor is simple but meets all basic needs; the mattress was comfortable, and there were several pillows provided. If you are visiting from outside Canada or the United States, be sure to bring a universal travel adapter, as there are no USB ports available (though there are plenty of standard electrical outlets in the bedroom). The motel provides Wi-Fi, which is essential since mobile reception across the entire island is very limited. Smoking is only permitted outdoors; there is a table and chairs on the walkway in front of the room if you’d like to sit outside. Should the situation arise again, I would definitely stay at this motel once more."
