"You get what you pay for. This is an amazing ground floor apartment. Very spacious, but it is an older apartment so it is rough and ready. Paul is a helpful host and the beds were comfortable and clean, but do not expect pristine. "

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. "We stayed here for 4 days while we visiting Amsterdam. It was perfect for our family of 3. The space is very comfortable and it was good to come back and relax after a day exploring the city. The neighborhood has lots of stores, restaurants, and is close to public transportation and parks. Would stay here again when we come back to visit."
