Hotels near Myodani Station

"Very big hotel. Twin standard room was very big. Very comfortable. Vibe is more towards older / sophisticated / formal. We didn’t do more than sleep there. Breakfast buffet was twice what paid in Kyoto so we skipped it. Easy walk to China Town / JR line station. Shin line is farther, not walking distance. Lots of restaurant's in the area. We day tripped to Himeji and Osaka from Kobe. Good location. "

"For context, I stayed here in the middle of a month-long trip in Japan, and before this have mostly been in budget hotels. The location was, in my opinion, one of the best parts of the hotel. It is within a 10 minute walk to both a JR Rail station and a local line, and is a short walk to both Harborland and the Kobe Port Tower. All guest rooms are relatively high up -- 6th or 7th floor -- and some, like the room I was in, have a view of Kobe Port Tower. One night it was pouring rain, but I still had a nice time with the view. The staff were all incredibly professional, not much more to say other than they were great. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. My only complaint would be that the highest hook for the shower head was broken. I probably could have told the front desk and got it fixed, but I liked the room enough to not bother them. Overall, a great hotel in a great location."
