"We took a chance with this hotel as it had only been open for about 10 days. The risk was worth it as everything was pristine and the location could not have been better. We only took one cab over 5 days as everything was within a mile or so walking distance and I'd never entertain renting a car in Rome. Great roof top pool and bar!"

"We loved this hotel! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Even a Dyson blow dryer :) fresh water to fill our water bottles with and don’t miss the free continental breakfast, it was so good! I would say the only downfall is it is a little out of the way of major tourist sights like Vatican and colosseum, but we didn’t mind the walk and it allowed us to see lots of different areas of the city we wouldn’t have otherwise. So if you’re up...

"Although the hotel appears fairly basic, the rooms are well equipped including a fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer, slippers, a safe, plenty of towels and pillows etc. The staff were incredible. A real personal touch and nothing was too much trouble. They also have a bunch of free tours on offer, which because we didn’t know and had already booked stuff we couldn’t take advantage of, which was a shame. The decor of some of the room and communal space is a little dated, and there was a slight...

"Beautiful hotel in convenient location! Very friendly staff that help with food, activity recommendations as well as any traveler needs within the hotel. Everything is updated, sparkling and rooms are quiet! Impressive breakfast buffet with kind, helpful staff bringing beautifully prepared cappuccino. I definitely recommend staying here!!"

"Lovely small hotel in the heart of the city. Very convenient to get to all the sites and transport. Super helpful staff, very easy to communicate with even though I didnt see them as I was out all day. Very clean."

"Great location. Nice balcony area with amazing view. Room has cool vibes. Comfy bed. Breakfast was included, and delivered to room. Would definitely stay here again."

"Casa Gutmann is a nice hotel with spacious rooms and a helpful staff. It’s not in the “historic district” but rather it’s more of a local neighborhood. For me the only thing missing is a nice lobby but it does have a rooftop deck. We would recommend it"

"Very nice hotel !"

"Beautiful, spacious, clean rooms and common areas. The staff was extremely warm and welcoming, and the breakfast had the most variety of high quality items that I've ever had (and loved the unlimited barista coffee that came with it!). We also had an afternoon snack at the bar which was amazing - excellent offerings and quality, and there is plenty of seating both indoors and out. The rooftop was beautiful at night and I appreciated the filtered water that was available in the galleys on...

"Excellent hotel and location"

"The Room and hotel are well appointed it is a traditional upscale older hotel with traditional furnishings, comfortable bed, larger than average bathroom and fairly large bedroom. Internet was very spotty and continually going out. Hotel Staff stated they called for service but internet kept going down. Another employee acknowledged it was due to the thick walls. Location is convenient and hotel seems safe with 24 hr front desk. Breakfast was sumptuous but due to early tours could only take...

"This is truly a dream place to stay!! The room is gorgeous, clean, roomy, and very well located! The host is so helpful and friendly!! She even brought our breakfast to our room!! Her communication was fast and very professional! She even gave as a souviner upon leaving!! I would highly recommend it to any couple! We had a fantastic stay!!"

"Almost everything about this hotel was great. Location, restaurant, staff, atmosphere all wonderful. However the lighting in the room may be the worst I have experienced in a hotel. They really need to adjust the design of the lighting. No place to shave or comb your hair, where you could see properly. It became quite annoying after a few days. For this reason I would not return to this hotel."

"super clean and very helpful staff."

"الغرف جميلة ومريحة وتعامل الموظفين رائع ينقصة فقط عدم وجود مصاعد "
