"Very friendly staff. Nice croissant for breakfast. Quiet even though we are right on top of a popular pub. We got upgraded to a suite and it’s spacious and beautiful with a very comfortable bed."

"A gem of a house in a perfect location for a break in Saint Remy. The house was spotless and the host Genevieve was charming. She recommended some fab restaurants for us to visit which we did! The house has everything you need and you can just fall out of it into the town. Couldn’t recommend it more highly."

"I loved my stay here at this property. The location just doesn't get much better! St Remy de Provence was a really wonderful village to stay in, and being right in the center of town was such a treat. We could walk everywhere. There were so many wonderful shops and restaurants and we actually enjoyed being there in the off season, so it was much less crowded. We had a rental car as well, and we're grateful that Gilles and Patricia's rental allowed us a parking place! I had a few friends with me the first few days, and we ventured to Les Baux de provence, went to the Carrieres de Lumieres, and to the big market in Arles. The remainder of the time I spent on my own, puttering around locally. I walked to Glanum and to where Van Gogh stayed. What a treat to have such great history within walking distance.Gilles and Patricia were wonderful hosts. Commucating with them was easy and they were very attentive while leaving me the space to just enjoy their cottage. I would gladly stay there again!"

"Beautifully renovated house in great location for exploring Provence. Private parking spot, though entry tight. Genevieve provided great communication. We'd lice to return and highly recommend. "
Luxury villa in town center; 5* in a quiet location

"We (two couples) had a fantastic time and stay at Villa Joalyse in early October. The house and property are truly magnificent, clean and well-maintained, and exceeded our expectations. We were so comfortable here during our week and enjoyed it so much. We appreciated the amenities and special touches provided by the hosts, including basket of goodies, olive oil, coffee and tea, nice toiletries and soaps, high quality towels and linens, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities. The hosts were very responsive to all questions during our stay and very attentive. The location of the house is truly fantastic, as the center of St. Remy with shops and restaurants is only a 4 minute walk away. Yet it still feels secluded, private and spacious, with the beautiful pool and garden area and lots of outdoor seating. The location allowed for each person to come and go as they wished into town (for example, to pick up fresh bread in the morning!) and allowed us to walk to restaurants in the evening. The private parking area was also great. St. Remy is a beautiful town with a wonderful market on Wednesdays which we really enjoyed. The surrounding area and towns are beautiful with so many things to do and see within a short distance. It is a great "home base" to experience Provence. We highly recommend Villa Joalyse and would love to come back! Thank you to our hosts Beatrice and Gil for a beautiful house and an amazing vacation! "
Luxury Village House In The Heart Of Historic St.Remy-De-Provence

"My wife and I rented this property for 9 nights in early to mid October, 2025.
The property was probably the nicest of our 8 locations DURING OUR MONTH LONG STAY IN France. It was DEFINATELY the largest property in terms of living space. First floor had a living room, dining room and kitchen all in an open floor configuration. There was a half bath on the first floor as well as large room that didn’t have a real purpose (too bad actually). There is an over/under washer/dryer off that room which we used frequently.
A stairway led up to a landing with one bedroom on the right (with a terrace) and another bedroom to the left (we used that one) a bathroom (literally) with a sink, tub and shower. Another half bath was adjacent.
The house was clean, quiet and SO CLOSE to restaurants (lots), cafes, a museum and a small bodega type store. You cannot park at the location but there is ample, free parking about a 10 minute walk.
The house is comfortably furnished, beds comfortable, lots of hot water and towels and a large smart TV I. The living room.
The kitchen has an induction oven (never figured that out) and stovetop, we mastered that. Microwave, toaster, full kitchen accessories, coffee maker and tea pot.
The on site manager, Patricia, is a gem. She had a bottle of wine and some milk on the fridge and we had her help us with the appliances on several occasions. As helpful as she was, her English was on par with my French. Google translate was a lifesaver.
