"We loved the location And the food was great at the restaurant But it was noisy in the room At night into the wee hours with doors slamming. And the staff were not always present at the desk"

"Excellent stay, central location, luxury apartments. Lots of extra touches to make the stay very special."

"Well maintained and beautiful property. Very comfortable and convenient location. They made all of us feel home, even the little kid"

"This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea. My room was spacious and well stocked with coffee, espresso, tea, dishes, flatware, etc. I had control over the heat which i loved. The bed was quite comfortable and the furniture was quite nice.

"We stayed here for our 3 days in Edinburgh. We walked to most main attractions from this location. It was a bit out of the central area so it was nice and quiet but a further walk each day in order to get most places, but definitely do able. Rooms were very large, restaurant was excellent."

"I had a single room and it was perfect for travelling solo. Very comfortable bed, quiet area, lovely housekeeping staff. Definitely would stay there again."

"Super schöne Unterkunft mit einer perfekten Lage direkt am Castle. Wirklich empfehlenswert."

"I stayed for 6 days and everything was excellent. We’ll return in January 2027"

"Map describing the area of location would be great on check in as would the explantion of ways to connect with a concierge person for questions about Edinburgh code for entering bldg as well as apartment was genious! stay was delightful as was proximity to Haymarket trainn station!"

"+ Check-in was very easy and staff were helpful. Location was perfect for getting around the city, the AC was great and the bed was comfortable. - The cleanliness of the room was not the best and the lack of regular housekeeping was not ideal, as 4 days between cleans is a bit long. The HVAC did not appear to work for circulation, and there was some old water damage to the bathroom door frame/swelling of kitchenette linoleum."

"A lovely laid back atmosphere in the heart of old town Edinburgh."

"The property itself was okay, served the purpose of a room to sleep in, but definitely could benefit from a deep clean and some minor upgrades. It’s quiet, which is very nice. There is a bus stop right outside the building, which is convenient, but it’s about 30 minutes to get downtown. The restaurant downstairs is great and the staff is all friendly and nice."

"Lovely decor and fittings. Great location and easy links to all parts of the city"
