This lovely home is just off of the Main Street. You couldn't ask for a better location! It is set in a quiet neighborhood but is a convenient one-minute walk from the center of the historic downtown. Guests will enjoy cooking in the spacious kitchen as well having breakfast in the cheerful kitchen nook. It has a wrap around porch for sipping wine and having hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon as well as a private back patio area. Note: Has a full house generator for use during power outages!

This place is everything it said it was. Excellent location, lots of gathering space, and a delightful porch to relax with our coffee in the morning and wine in the afternoon.

Wonderful Home

We had friends stay in Leafy Lonesome and both couples stated they had a wonderful stay. The home is well furnished, spacious and the large windows allow lovely rays of sunlight into the home. The residence boasts a large wrap around porch and Leafy Lonesome a one minute walk into town.

Outstanding property and lication

This spotless home has everything you need, including a large kitchen with everything you could need. It can easily accommodate a large family or group. You can walk within 2-3 minutes to Murphy’s Main Street. Quiet street. Wonderful stay with our pup.

Red Truck

My two daughters and I loved this place. It’s on a quiet street, basically around the corner from my favorite winery (ValduVino) within walking distance to the Main Street in Murphy’s. We loved the little Red Truck that we could see! The front porch is a great place to enjoy a glass of wine and the patio out back is very private & comfortable.

We love the location of this home, close to downtown and walking distance to everything.

It’s the feeling of home to me, much like how my grandmother lived in San Andreas. It reminds me so much of her, and my childhood memories. I love how clean it is, its everything its described to be and close to everything. We will be back!

Beautiful Relaxing Getaway

Three of us stayed at Leafy Lonesome for a getaway at the end of the school year. The house is clean, quiet, and well appointed. The grounds are lovely and we saw deer, many birds, and even a red fox from the porch. It is an easy walk to the adorable and fun downtown Murphys area. We loved our stay here and will be coming back!
