"Hampton Inn in the US has 24 hour free coffee and tea service available in the lobby area, which is the reason I always stay there, but the one in Venice didn’t have it. That was sad."

"Steps away from the san Marco square, this hotel was an absolute dream of a location! As a solo woman traveler I felt very safe here, and the front desk was always friendly and so helpful with recommendations etc! The room I had was so girly and cute, i really enjoyed my stay here :)"

"Rooms were clean. We had a balcony that overlooked small canal. Easy walk from water bus station for convienance. Offered free trip to Murrano by water taxi - good luck getting back. Just beware. Breakfast was extra but very good. Not too far to walk to St Marks Square 10 to 15 minutes. Nicely decorated - nice hotel."

"The check in was excellent! Had a very nice young man check us in and gave us lots of tips for getting to and from Vienna. Note: this hotel is on the island of Murano, next to Vienna. We made the mistake of walking with our suitcases from the drop point of the Airport water taxi alilaguna. The service to Murano was fine just had very long (at least dragging 2 heavy suitcases from the drop point over busy cobblestone sidewalks. It was a wonderful retreat staying at this location to be away from the crazy crowds in Vienna. Our room was nice. We could have used more places to put things though. We would definitely stay on this quieter island again at the NH Collection Hotel!"

"The staff were particularly helpful with recommendations on how to get to the hotel and the station and good restaurants. I also really appreciated that they held our luggage before check in and after check out. Would come back!"
