Charming 1-bedroom condo in marvelous Marblehead with hidden patio

"This is a very cute historic building in a great location. The property was close to the ocean and the shopping district. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and parks. A little further walking or a quick trip in the car gives you access to additional quaint shops and dining. Salem is adjacent and thus nearby for history buffs or access to the commuter train. The accommodations are well maintained, cheerful and comfortable. The bedroom was a bit tight, but the bed was comfortable . The kitchen is small but very functional. The living and dining areas are spacious, well furnished and comfortable . The closets are dark holes and could easily be finished for client’s comfort. The biggest issue was lack of parking. On street parking was sparse, making it difficult with available spaces not always nearby. Being a historic house, the stairwell was tricky bringing suitcases and supplies up and down the narrow spiral steps. Overall it was a great place to stay. I would not recommend it for the elderly nor young children."

"Charming place. Room was small but so warm and cozy. I inadvertently booked an accessible room, so loved the fact that there was a chair in the shower to put my foot on while leg shaving. (Every hotel room in America should have at least a ledge of some kind for this!) Like most of the places we’ve been staying, the Internet was crap. But loved our stay here."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Marblehead! The location is unbeatable—charming, quiet, and just a short stroll to the historic downtown and the waterfront. The home itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was perfect for an evening chat with a glass of wine. Our host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive from booking to checkout. We couldn't have asked for a better coastal getaway and are already looking forward to coming back!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The studio was clean, cozy, and located in a beautiful historic house. It was also conveniently close to downtown, which made it easy to explore the area. The check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Communication with the host was excellent—they responded quickly and were very helpful whenever we had a question. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!"

"Surprise hidden gem above local gym! I had read about the possibility of noise from the gym and was prepared for it but be cautious if you are a light sleeper the noise might disturb you in the morning. The unit was very spacious and clean. It would be beneficial to add some hooks in the bathroom and in the bedrooms. Some shelves in the closets for extra space would also be a positive, especially in the room with a king size bed as there is no dresser in that room. Last note would be adding the Wi-Fi password in the welcome letter instead of having to reach out would be helpful but the host was extremely quick to reply! Overall a very nice stay in Marblehead!"
