"The host famy are very nice people and explained everything well. The house is light and welcoming. The outside area has a great pool and the garden is large with various seating options. We especially enjoyed eating outside at the large table. It is advertised as 9 people but realistically two beds were on the floor, so suits 7 perfectly. We very much appreciated the late check out due to no booking following us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"Jolie maison en bois tranquille avec jardin agréable, équipement complet, grandes armoires pour les vêtements. Par contre, à signaler un manque d'entretien qui laisse à penser que le ménage se limite à celui effectuer par les derniers locataires (poubelles et matériel de nettoyage sales). D'autre part, les tiroirs de la cuisine sont endommagés et n'ont pas été réparés. "The owners Stuart and Michelle were very friendly and helpful. The outside space and pool were brilliant with plenty of wildlife to see in the garden."

"The hosts were excellent and easy to contact. As the weather was not brilliant we really enjoyed the facilities at the house with darts and table football inside and table tennis outside. The pool was larger than I imagined and we did use the shelter on the pool on a wet day. Fantastic pizza's at the restaurant almost opposite the house. An excellent, sandy beach was just 800m walk down a quiet road ,but there was great range of bikes also available at the house and facility to lock up the bikes...

"Pour un week-end entre amis, la maison est parfaite pour accueillir nos 4 couples. Des chambres confortables et tous les équipements pour se sentir comme à la maison. La cuisine est très bien équipée et c’est très appréciable. La terrasse et sa vue sont sublimes, on aurait pu passer 4 jours accoudés à regarder la mer ! L’immense véranda pour manger, se reposer, prendre l’apéro est un vraie plus pour les journées pluvieuses et les soirées fraîches. Des hôtes disponibles et bienveillants, bref...

"We had a great holiday here with two families. House was well appointed and equipped and the grounds and pool house are fabulous! The only drawback is that the owners haven't paid for refuse collection so we had to cart our rubbish to the nearest town. The surrounding area is lovely, with a short drive to beaches and seaside towns. The nearest town, Avrillé, does not have a lot to offer but has a small shop, takeaway and nice patisserie. Le Bernard is walkable from the house and has a lovely...
