Adrian is a truly wonderful host who made us feel comfortable at all times and nothing was too much trouble. He was always available when we needed him and extremely pleasant to talk to. He is very clued up about the area, this helped us a lot. We also aren't the type of family who would normally eat continental breakfast as we prefer a full english, but it was so lovely! "Lovely Easter break! The 'Owl' room was ideal for the four of us, as has bunks for the kids & a fabulous super-king bed. Superb Breakfasts & Sunday roast served by hosts Dave, Jackie & their team. 5 min drive from St Ives, didn't cause us an issue. This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' "

"Very friendly hosts very clean and tidy rooms and the option to put heating on in your room if required bathroom very clean bed extremely comfortable and a nice range of tea/ coffees in the room and a tv . Breakfast was excellent would definitely recommend to anyone and only a two minute walk from the train station "

Very disappointed by the size of the room - the Heligan is tiny - just enough room for the bed and very little wardrobe space - so had to keep my clothes in my case and it was a squeeze in and out of the bathroom - which has an opaque window - so if you dont mind seeing your partner on the loo then its ok. For a room described as 'deluxe' with a kingsize bed it was a let down, having travelled 300 miles to get there. Overall though...

"We had a wonderful stay at Little Pengelly Farm. It is conveniently located half way between the north and south coast of western Cornwall. Robert and Maxine were very accommodating and easily arranged our late check in with clear instructions. They gave us lots of local knowledge and advice where to see and eat. Room was very clean and a good size with a huge comfortable bed. There was a good variety of breakfast each morning and the cooked Cornish breakfast was delicious. Very quiet and rural...

"This was a lovely old stone cottage connected to others on a fairly steep, narrow road. We had some difficulty finding it, but a lovely employee at the Fore 2 Restaurant guided us. Your gps might lead you astray. You really need to unload your gear and then park in the town pkg lot. We could walk everywhere & take the bus to other locations. The cottage itself had a well-equipped kitchen and good living/dining area. If ppl in your party have mobility issues, they will find the steep, narrow...
