"Mystic River Resort feels like you are staying in the Congo with an amazing staff, food, drinks, and rooms. The rooms do not have AC so we recommend staying here in the winter/spring unless you are used to the humid heat. The excursions available all around are awesome! And the food/drinks within town are amazing and CHEAP! We will definitely be back to the resort in the winter for a cooler experience as we see more temples."

"Ian Anderson’s Cave Branch Adventure was simply amazing. The setting in the jungle was truly beautiful almost to a spiritual level. It was completely refreshing staying there in nature. One of the best parts was all the staff including the adventure guides. Everyone was so nice, friendly, and hospitable. They made you feel like you belong there and were part of their family. "

"My sister and I loved our stay here! The restaurant is great, the staff is so helpful getting excursions booked, and the iguana project is wonderful. The photos do not do this place justice. Sitting by the pool as the sun began to go down and all the lights were on was simply beautiful! The hotel is on a big hill, so while I did do a lot of walking because town is very close - that may not be for everyone! "

"This place is amazing. We stayed for three nights before transferring to San Pedro, and I miss Blancaneaux! We transported by heli and when we were greeted by loving staff with horses and buggy, we were ecstatic! All three restaurants are delicious and fun, and the bar staff is fantastic! The property is insanely beautiful and I need to go back just to explore more. We did a couple activities/tours (and the front desk staff is so kind and helpful in arranging that and also so gracious when you mess it up haha), so we were off site half a day at a time, and there is so much more I want to see and do at Blancaneaux We met a lot of cool people and made a lot of memories. This is one of the best overall experiences I’ve had while traveling. Thank you, new friends in BZ!"

"Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. Rooms and the restaurant was very clean.. also a small gift shop on site was nice. The bungalos were very neat with a nice fans and air conditioning. Choosing this lodge was the best decision I made on our trip. "

"This place was amazing. The view of the wilderness was awesome. We stayed in the Firewatch villa and had a front row seat to various birds with a great view. We took a guided tour of the property and saw 4 waterfalls, a hawk and had a private lunch at the secret pool with another waterfall and hammock. The staff was amazing. Marvin gave us a lot of information on our tour as did Vion when he took us cave tubing. They arranged our transportation from the airport and to the ATM cave. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with our daily itinerary. The food was delicious too and the servers were very friendly."

"This was one of the best places I’ve stayed San Ignacio. Great value for money. Friendly staff, nice pools, and several options for meals. The best was the view of the valley below. Next time I will stay in one of the authentic cabanas"

"Our cottage was wonderful and the bed so comfy! The grounds were beautiful, we were taken away as soon as we arrived. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool was a relief to have and so well maintained. And we loved the butterfly conservatory, we can't remember her name, sorry, but the girl that gave us the tour was so informative and easy to talk to. We will definately be back!"
