"For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us."

"Above all the staff, dedicated and a passion to make the perfect getaway for their guests. The rooms are very clean, and it is a joy to stay in the room from time to time. Great help and solutions if you need help with something. Booking tours, no problem. Get a taxi, how to go somewhere. They just know and seem very happy to help. "I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again."
