This quaint, out of the way spot, was ideally located for our need to decompress from multiple days of travelling on our road trip. George, the host, was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the area. We had a great stay!

We arrived by bicycle late afternoon in early September. Not much open in town and mosquitoes were intense. The room was comfortable and clean. Very convenient to Confederation trail.

This a very charming stop. The owner/manager was not present as far as we could tell but we did get messages from him. We had no trouble with checking in or staying/ it really is delightful. And the bakery cafe across the road was fantastic!

Great little unique spot. We stayed a night after biking, and it's right on the trail. Clean and comfortable, and the AC was nice after a hot day. Great little bakery across the road to have breakfast if you wish.

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We checked in on our own, so never met the owner. The property had a lot of bush around it, so the mosquitoes were really, really bad. It was difficult to get into the room or your car without letting some in, and being bitten. There is a bakery across the street that serves breakfast and lunch, and they were very helpful to us.

Great communication from the owner. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable with amenities such as a mini-fridge and microwave. There was a great restaurant on site as well as a bakery/cafe directly across the street. Check in was fast and convenient. The area was quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend!

Close to Confederation Trail and across the street from a local bakery and take out café. We enjoyed the elevated deck too. Lastly, it was a quiet and private room. The owner sent timely updates and made certain that we were comfortable and settled in - we felt welcomed even though all communication was via messages

We had a great stay. I understand the building is old so walls maybe not well insulated between rooms . .we could hear ppl talking in next room . They had children that were very active and stayed up late so I bit difficult to sleep. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Unique property that you can see shared in the history of the town. It is right beside the Confederation Trail, so good location. George was quite accommodating in helping us with our e-bikes and ensuring that we were taken care of. The folks who own the bakery right across the street were very helpful as well. Enjoyed our stay.
