"I found this to be an older hotel. Having stayed in a good selection of hotels downtown Toronto. In the suite there was supposed to be a small amount of cutlery, dishes and proper suite amenities but there was none. The pullout couch bed was right in front the very small what they called the kitchenette, and several toes were stubbed trying to get by as there was only 6 inches to walk through. Extremely poor placement of the pullout bed to the room. The room was otherwise clean and safe, very great location downtown and the staff extremely lovely. Parking was very reasonable price and very good. Unfortunately, I will not stay there again as the price did not match my expectations. I was expecting with the price, that this hotel would match or be a good comparison to One King West and their suites, but it absolutely did not. I will stay at One King West again moving forward."

" The property grew on me but it is very dated, could use freshening, but would stay again. It is only about a 15 minute easy drive to Sunnybrook Hospital, which is why we were staying there. It is off the road and it quite private. There isn't any restaurants other than the property restaurant close by. Clean-ish (don't look too closely, would prefer no dust on bedside tables and lamps and mirrors without toothpaste splatter) but sheets where clean and towels were thick and white. Carpets very worn and were brown so you have no idea how clean they are. Bathtub had some mold in the corners and chips out of the tile floor and bathtub itself. The main things were clean but because of the mirrors not being clean and dust it just made me feel it wasn't really clean Didn't use the indoor pool but it looked very cool with lots of natural light. They also have a large outdoor pool. Staff on the reception desk was friendly, mostly. I ended up needing to return so checked in twice. Both check ins where quick and nice but my key cards didn't work the 2nd day. When I asked them to redo the cards the person on the desk didn't say anything. I was pretty annoyed at the time because it had been a long day at the hospital and my hand were full and now I have to go get my keys reprogrammed. All in all it would not be where I would stay for a holiday but for Sunnybrook it was OK and I would stay there again if attending Sunnybrook Hospital for surgery. "

"My room had a strange T configuration and the bathroom was right next to the bed with thin walls. Even with the door closed, I could hear the toilet water running all night as it had a slow leak. The room itself was clean. I appreciated that there were no carpets. The coffee cups provided in the room were too small for the size of coffee the pods produce so I made a big mess. One should select the espresso setting, not lungo ! The Café food was average. Otherwise, the location made up for all the flaws. It was situated right on the King Street subway stop and very walkable to many downtown attractions. More storage or counter area in the bathrooms would have been useful. Overall, it was a good stay."

"I did not get to stay at this hotel. At check in they insisted on copying my ID, which I objected to. They subsequently cancelled my reservation. A hotel can check my ID at check in but copying it is unnecessary"

"Beautiful rooms, very clean. The staff was great and the location was great. Stayed for two nights and they also gave us plenty of water at no charge. Highly recommend this hotel."
