"Amazing location with a beautiful view. The renovated rooms are really nice and the hall, restaurant and pool are great. The place feels warm and welcoming. The only thing that could be improved is the staff service at the breakfast restaurant. It was a breakfast buffet and all they had to do was to serve coffee and beverages and we had to ask 3 times. The restaurant wasn’t full and they were plenty of waiters. Other than that very please le with our stay and we will come back for sure."

"Loved the modern chalet feel and it smelt fresh. Lots of towels and comfy beds. It is minimalist style but could still have used a bit more table or counter space. So nice to have a parent room to ourselves. Lounge was a beautiful place for breakfast."

"Kim was great- very communicative but also unobtrusive. The property was spacious and perfect for our active family. Definitely recommend for those traveling with young children. We usually spend the first hour child proofing when traveling with the kids- totally unnecessary here. The surrounding woods were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for in an ADK adventure."

"The house was amazing. The Great Room was great with a wonderful fireplace that created such as warm and cozy space. The rooms were spacious and cozy. The kitchen was great, plenty of counter space and all to the kitchen gadgets and tools you'll need. Colleen and Mark were fabulous hosts and communicated with us. We had to make a change to our plans and move the reservation by one week; they accommodated us and helped make everything perfect."

"My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Lake Placid Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of magical! Before arriving, the owner Kelly, sent us a "Perfect Placid" list of the areas attractions with things to do and restaurant recommendations. So cool! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed - Kelly and her staff greeted us warmly and offered a quick tour pointing out the cozy common areas and sharing a bit of the Inn's history. The vintage accents and handcrafted furniture made us feel like we had stepped back in time. Our room (Kate Smith) was sooo comfortable, mixing rustic charm and beautiful modern amenities! Our dining experience was spectacular with seasonal offerings that support local farms and vendors. Absolutely delicious and everyone made us feel like family! The location is just minutes from everything, yet it feels like a secluded retreat. We sat on the porch and played cribbage with our wine and handcrafted cocktails. So fun and relaxing! We also visited the village shops, Mirror Lake, and biked the beautiful Adirondack Trail. Our whole trip was simply amazing... and too short! Bottom line, The Stagecoach has historic charm, 5-star dining, and a location that perfectly balances convenience with tranquility. It will warm your soul. We definitely plan to stay again!! "We had a great time at the chalet. The outdoor fire pit, large deck, screened porch and propane grill really added to our experience. The chalet had everything we needed and the kitchen is is well stocked with pot, pans, dishes, extra trash bags, paper towels, etc. We would rent here again. Note to future renters, bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap."
