Ocean Front Log Cabin on Haida Gwaii

"Beauitful rustic cabin, right in front of the beach, good location, quiet and peaceful."

"Nice clean place with well equipped kitchen. Fantastic to have a full washer and dryer in the bathroom. Screens on all windows so could open windows no problem. Can walk down the street to the Axe and Anchor restaurant for a delicious dinner. Central location on Haida Gwaii, 1 hr north to Masset and Tow Hill and 45 mins south to Skidegate. We took the 20 min ferry from Skidegate to Alliford Bay to explore Sandspit and surrounding area. Host was very friendly and good at communicating. Only complaint was the excessive water in the front yard you had to step thru to get to the stairs to the unit. Host says they are in the process of fixing. Hopefully will be fixed sooner rather than later."

"Adele was very helpful finding support for us which we needed. The house was perfect for us. It contained every thing we needed over an extended stay. A comfortable space at a good location with easy access to all the highlights of Haida Gwaii. Plus walking distance to an excellent restaurant and the best grocery store on the island."

"We had a seven day stay and it was beautiful! The fire pit and picnic table sit right above the ocean, beautiful morning sunrises. The beach was also great for walking, really quiet area and calm seas. You could hear the ocean from the room!There was a little bit of occasional road noise but honestly, the highway is never busy! The ocean waved over ride noise from the road.It was a little tricky, finding a location, not marked from the road. Took a few tries to catch the driveway without having to turn around. The Wi-Fi is not fabulous on the island, we did not really have Wi-Fi during our stay, but we managed to have a few sent messages in the evening.The room was well appointed and really quaint, and well set up. Wish there was a little more area to sit things on like clothing or luggage. Most of our dining was outside. The outdoor shower worked well, not the most hot water, but did the job! We lit the fire in the cabin in the evenings to take the chill off, it was a very hot little fireplace, which is great! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"
