"We enjoyed our stay in this atmospheric throwback to earlier days in travel, with the beautiful stonework and lobby. I believe as budget room, it's a great value and very peaceful with lovely views. I will warn you the dining room, while comfortable and with friendly staff, has mediocre food. The coffee in the room is probably not drinkable, and coffee in the restaurant is almost $4. However, there are reasonable rooms with great rooms and Charleston Peak is quite lovely if you drive up the road."

"I We really liked the cleanliness of the room, and the nice variety of the breakfast items. The thing that we didn’t like was the quality of the toilet paper. It was extremely thin. Also, the toilet paper holder was not very sturdy, and the paper tended to fall off onto the floor, when rolling off the paper, due to the open end design."

"Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. The only very small complaint was the only restaurant that was open by the time we got checked in was slow but because they were short staffed. Great place all around."
