10/10 Excellent
"This is an awesome property to kick back and visit with family and friends the indoor and outdoor space are all clean and plenty of seating. We love being able to sit outside and play ping pong and cornhole while visiting or just hang out outside especially in the evening. Well worth it. "
Modern High End Cabin #3 on Horsehead lake with private viewing tower
10/10 Excellent
"Very well thoughtout design. Our children came to visit for a family lunch and there was plenty of room to eat, visit and relax. The shade allowed us to take family strolls to view the area. The peoperties are secluded yet just a short drive to interstate. We explored the dirt roads up and around the lake and even kayaked acrossed to the recreation area. Would love to rent all 3 for a family weekend. "
Treehouse/cabin with an amazing view of Mount Magazine
10/10 Excellent
"My husband and I choose this treehouse cabin for a weekend get away. We really enjoyed our time there! The cabin was very clean and well stocked. There were also some sweet personal touches- some snacks and a handwritten card from the host. It was a peaceful place and we loved the view!"
"We had a lovely stay in Ozark! The home was just as described—charming, cozy, and a perfect fit for our weekend. Check-in was a breeze, and the hosts were kind and responsive throughout.A few small things to note: as an older home, there were some expected quirks—like a few cobwebs and the occasional bug—but nothing that took away from our experience. The bigger challenge was the amount of pet hair throughout the house, particularly on the main couch and in the carpet of two of the bedrooms. The majority of those in our party have dog allergies and had to start allergy meds immediately upon arrival, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive. Also, the toilet paper holder in one bathroom was loose/hanging down, and the syrup in the waffle cart had seen better days—so no waffles for us this time! That said, the space was warm and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our time there. With just a little extra attention to detail, this spot could be even more fantastic. Overall, we would totally recommend this listing to others! "
"My wife and I brought our 5 year old golden to the property. I knew the scenery would be beautiful and the cabin would be comfortable and modern. But pictures can show the best of a place and leave out any potential drawbacks. I was really surprised by how much privacy we had and how a lot of the features that I thought would be communal weren’t. We had a tower all to ourselves overlooking Horsehead Lake and the mountains behind it. There was a screened sitting area to enjoy the outdoors and keep the bugs away. A very nice shaded dog pen, a gas grill, and an amazing fire pit (bugs weren’t even an issue!)The cabin, though small, is more than enough room for a couple or even a family of 4. We never felt like we didn’t have enough space. On top of that, the owner had literally thought of everything. At first I couldn’t get the tv to work, I was able to swap batteries with another remote and I was in business. The next morning I noticed, there were boxes of extra AA and AAA batteries. There was a dog bed, bowl, treats, and even dog food if you forgot to pack some. Before we arrived, we told the owner what we were looking for and he made a recommendation for where we could take our dog. She absolutely loved the Mulberry River. We have stayed at several VRBOs but this one’s unmatched beauty, activities nearby, and proximity to Dallas (5 hour drive) make it the most likely for us to return to often."
