"Great stay at this place. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Good Folk restaurant at the main floor has great food and wine selections, servers and Manager were great. Avail of their free bus pass if you’re not driving. Very convenient, bus stops right in front of the hotel."
"Great experience, the transit bus pass they give you is a huge help. Room was cleaned everyday very well. We loved our stay staff was always friendly and helpful."
"We eloped in Banff, ourselves and most of our guests stayed at The Juniper. Joel and the rest of the front desk staff went above and beyond. They were amazing"
"The location was walkable to downtown but was one of the furthest hotels as well which made it a nice walk out of the crowds. The hotel was clean and housekeeping staff was great. Most of the front desk staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. When we pulled up a front desk worker was outside clearly stressed as guests were arriving but rolled his eyes when my son moved what we thought was a runaway luggage cart but by the eye roll I realized he had intentionally blocked the drive thru. I rolled down my window and apologized and asked where parking was located. He was still annoyed but told me where to go. Inside he was still unkind. Our room wasn’t ready at check-in time and when we got our room it was the wrong room. After a long day of travel we finally got to a room and settled in. We received 3 breakfast buffet vouchers for the 4 of us which was later remedied by the lovely waitress at the Keg. After checking in, I made an effort to not speak to the front desk. Once we started moving and shaking in our trip we literally only slept at the hotel. I did get a massage in the spa. Lovely girl but extremely expensive and not ranked one of the best I’ve received. The hot pool (giant hot tub) and sauna were nice after a long day of hiking.
I value honest reviews when I am looking for a place to stay so I hope this helps others with expectations.
Banff is a magical place to visit and while we will go back we may try another hotel."
