"Firstly, I didn’t make use of the ‘amenities’. I was visiting parents who had moved house so this was literally a place to rest my head. That being said, the restaurant staff were lovely as I arrived late when l they were finishing shift so helped me find keys and get in. The room was decent - comfortable bed, shower and separate toilet. "I am so happy we stayed at the Pilsley Inn. It is located in a lovely little village just outside of Chatsworth House. I felt like I had stepped back in time. "Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. "Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended."
