"I highly recommend that everyone should look beyond the big expensive city of Basel and look into Germany for accommodations. Although this hotel had slightly outdated décor, one can see that this hotel, and it's staff, have a lot of pride in their work place, and they offer great service. My room was spotless, had all the necessities except for air conditioning but thankfully, it was a cool enough night that it wasn't necessary. The hotel offered a plentiful and fresh breakfast buffet that was fit for a king. Everything was wonderful at the Carathotel. I really commend the staff that was very welcoming."

The staff gave advice on how to find the Museum we were visiting the following day and were to get food late on in the evening. From the following morning the Lady in charge of reception absolutely brilliant looking after us impeccably nothing was a bother for our whole stay. We will be at the museum again and will have no problem in booking with the B&B Hotel in Mulhouse ten stars."
