It was a very clean hotel with friendly staff. Our complaint was the a/c didn’t work well and the beds have some sort of metal skirt around the bottom that squeaks whenever you move. The location was close to the beach and a bike ride to town. There is a nice little fire pit with a seating area outside. The rooms are basic and nothing spectacular. However, we would stay again for the purpose we were in town for.

Great location, walkable to the beach and Morro Rock. Very quiet in our room, easy access and very comfortable beds. It was a very fair price for summer travel, but a few details and fine-tuning would have been great. A wall had obviously been repaired, but never painted, and there were holes in the bathroom door-it had been sanded, probably in prep for painting, but not painted. Freezer needed defrosting. Front desk staff were very nice.

Pet-friendly 🐾Each room has a small patio, some with partial views of Morro Rock providing private relaxing breath of fresh air without having to leave the comforts of your room. Cozy sandstone courtyard seating brings warmth to your visit while visiting with family friends at the fire pit under the star of Morro Bay. Reasonably priced for the area, spacious & friendly accommodating staff

We arrived and needed a first floor room which the host changed for us. We were comfortable in the large sleeping area and bathroom. The beds were comfortable with nice sheets and fluffy towels. The location is very accessible to the 101 HWY and fast food/restaurants. We attended a tour of Hearst Castle and needed a day care for our dog, we chose Happy Trails Dog day care. It was a drive south from our room but it worked out great! We stayed 2 days. When we checked out we had forgotten a bag in our room and they immediately called us and we went back and got it! All in all we really enjoyed our stay!

Very convenient when traveling with dogs, big grass area to walk your fury ones, Reasonable price , free parking , short five minute drive to the big morro rock and whale watching. I would stay here again

The owners were nice. I didn’t like that the manager got into verbal confrontation with housekeeper , trying to talk her into cleaning another room! The amenities were skimpy not presentable at all the shampoo in little bottles are out People, nevertheless I felt safe

The place was dirty. Hair on the shower wall and some sort of sauce by the fire place. I asked house keeping to clean it and she said that it woke come off and I told her it was with water a she scraped it off. The staff including front desk was rude. Only 1 parking space when we had 2 rooms. No staff for help- had to leave card key.

The hotel was close to the shops and the beach; I didn’t have to drive far to get where I wanted to go. The room itself was comfortable but needed updated furniture and decor as it looked a bit run down. The hotel was very noisy and the walls were pretty thin because you could hear conversations from the room next door. Early one morining, someone was arrested right outside my door so obviously, I didn’t enjoy experiencing that. Overall, the room was just ok and I most likely will not choose this hotel again in the future.
