The bedrooms consist of a king-size with Smart TV and en-suite shower room and a triple room (double and a single) with Smart TV, along with a ground-floor shower room. Outside there is an enclosed garden with patio and furniture, a front shared patio with bench, as well as roadside parking. Within 0.5 miles you will find a shop and within 0.1 miles, a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Owl Cottage is a delightful base from which to explore all that Northumberland has to offer. Note: There are five steps up from the kitchen to living/dining room. Morpeth, a charming market town in Northumberland, is a great starting point from which to travel to the countryside or the seaside. Morpeth is a great starting point for exploring nearby attractions like Druridge Bay, which has miles of miles of golden sand, the vibrant city of Newcastle, to the south, Alnwick, which has a castle and gardens, and the National Trust's Wallington Hall, to the west. Morpeth also offers the ruins of a historic castle, lovely parks, riverside walks, ancient architecture and churches, and an old chantry with a bagpipe museum. There is also access to the Simonside and Cheviot Hills, which offer excellent hiking opportunities amidst stunning scenery.
