The island is quiet and inviting and allowed you to escape the commercialism of some of the bigger areas (Myrtle, OBX). With the more quaint atmosphere you still were able to find fun things to check out and excellent restaurants. The house itself was incredible. "The property is so cool. It is a historic site and has been brought back to reveal has gorgeous it is. It has all the character with modern touches you could want. The Blue Room is very comfortable with enough room for two to spend a cozy weekend. The location is perfect for Beaufort - it's right by the main drag, you can easily walk to shopping, dining, the ferries. And the hosts are awesome! "

"This was a cute little condo. It is in an excellent location and we loved the area! Perfect size for our family of 3. The owner was very responsive to communication and resolving issues. When we arrived the bathroom wasn’t very clean (hair, dried soap and dirt in shower, sink and toilet) and areas of the kitchen didn’t look like they had been wiped down. The owner did have a family member come right away to clean it. It still wasn’t as clean as I would prefer. So I did clean the bathroom and...
