My husband and I travel quite a bit but have never been to a hotel/motel as bad as this one. Although it was old and outdated, I would not complain about that. What got me was that they do not change the bedding between visitors. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE!!! The bedspread was dirty with tons on dog hairs and stains. YUCK! The sheets I was not sure if they were washed as they were extremely wrinkled. Fortunately, we had some work tarps in our car that we brought in and put over the bedding to sleep on. Also, the room had mold. GROSS! The hotel/motel was not in a great area and the security lock on the door was missing. They offer a free breakfast but there was NO WAY I was going to eat their food. I could not wait to get home, took off all clothes, stuck them in the washing machine and jumped in the shower. I felt GROSS after being in this place. I recommend NO ONE go here. I would have left and checked in someplace else if I would have had the extra money, but didn't.

I love the very affordable price for a very nice room. My only complaints in my entire experience are the headboards. They need to be replaced because they are white leather and they’re torn. And the bathroom is kind of gross. Other than that, this is a great deal for very comfortable bedding and very clean carpet and very modern furniture. I definitely will go back again.

The room was not clean, it had a bad order, someone smoke in the room, I took pictures of the room. Bathtub/ shower dirty! The nozzle on the bathtub never clean nasty, real nasty, rust around door frame bathroom, rust on entry to sink, iron dirty and rusty, rack in where the sink , on the wall disgusting, rusty. Mirror had rust and peeling, freezer needed defrosted! Lamb in between the bed on a stand leaning to one side. Who ever stay there before, carved up the head board on both beds! No Do Not disturb sign in room. Had to get one from the front desk! The curtain was hanging down on one end! I had brought six air fresher and still couldn’t get the smell out of the room! Also brought disinfectant spray and wipe desk, counter and etc down. Brought a mat to put in that disgusting tub! They wanted a $100.00 dollar deposit on your atm card! It wasn’t even worth a $1.00 deposit. The stay was HORRIBLE!!! I will never stay there again! After that I didn’t want to eat breakfast there! The whole room need restoration!!!

Property is nowhere near clean or maintained. We had to switch out of the first room we were given due to potent mold smell and excessive amounts of mold in the bathroom / sink area. Second room had a less potent smell and no visible mold and we deemed it somewhat "tolerable" for 1 night. We would not return unless the entire property were to under go complete renovations.

The room was not clean, however there were no bedbugs! Hair and gunk still in bathroom. Stopper in bathtub didn’t work. Very loud neighbors. Breakfast was minimal and had nothing fresh or healthy. Air conditioning unit had issues staying where you set it. Staff was typically on their phone.

I really did like my stay, the front desk girl was wonderful..that being said, the room was not clean, hair and dirt on the dust ruffle and comforter either had not been washed or was stained badly. I went out and bought my own sheets...the property would be so very cute if cleaned around the outside and the pool area needs attention bad. I had loose tiles in the bathroom doorway and a ring in the toilet..all these are minor things and with a bit of care would be easy to make better..I never got offered clean towels or anything. The price was so reasonable though, and the ease of being right in the middle of Morehead made me happy and I would stay again, I just think the place could look better.

For an older motel it was quite and clean. Good continental breakfast. Reasonably priced. If you're looking for a spot for a good night sleep...a shower with plenty of hot water... an outdoor swimming pool...breakfast, then check them out. Contractors, retirees, etc many stay here

Front desk was lovely. Pool area was clean and water was refreshing. Continental breakfast was decent. Room had a terrible smell- mildew/ wet basement scent. I really really want to know what happened in room 206?! HOLES in the wall by the bed. Bed was actually comfortable and the sheets and comforter were white without stains (glad to see they read their reviews and fixed this issue).

The room had mold on the sheets, bed headboard, mattress box spring and the lamp. The room smelled of bleach. Absolutely would not stay here again. We were in the room for 5 minutes and immediately checked out. We were told we'd have to contact Expedia for the full refund. I have pictures to prove if needed.
