"I traveled with my husband and 4 kids (11-18). The house was clean and everyone had their own bed We had everything we needed during our stay. The location was great to go in several directions for different activities. The D-Day Memorial is a must-see in Bedford. We would stay here again if we come back to the area."

Is the perfect dock for hanging out with friends and family, and the teens love the pool table and their own space downstairs, the adults love the big table upstairs to play cards. Owners have updated the main bathroom and the basement since we stayed there last, which is really nice."

"This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay."

This home offered a slew of activities for all to enjoy - the hot tub, the paddleboards, and the pool table. Although we couldn't partake in the pool or firepit because of the weather (too cool and windy), it was ready for us if we had the opportunity. Stores were about a 10 minute drive and easy to locate. "Many of us came into town for a graduation and stayed at DriftAway Ridge. It was absolutely the best decision. Everything was perfect and was the cherry on top of our weekend. Everyone wished we could’ve stayed one more day. From the beautiful lake, comfortable beds, great porch, large rooms, rec areas, large kitchen and multiple full bathrooms - what’s not to like. It is an amazing place and you will be happy you stayed here."

"Beautiful house and lake view. Outdoor decks/terraces and seating were very dirty. Needed to be wiped down before using. Seating at the fire pit was unusable due to need for cleaning. Challenging walk to dock and lake. Path/stairs to the lake are not for young children."

"Access for the lake was not good. Would have appreciated steps or, walkway or a railing. My husband is in heart failure an he only got to get in the boat once. Because of the climb. Because we could not use the awning it would have been nice to have an umbrella for the table. The house was beautiful, however it would have been nice to have a TV in each bedroom. There were no dishcloth to wash dishes as the rack in the dishwasher is broken. No trash bags. Hand soap in only the downstairs...
