"This is cottage is everything you see in the pictures and more. It is beautifully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need to make you feel at home. The views and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was a very much appreciated amenity at night, enjoying the beautiful country night. "We had an amazing stay, this home goes above and beyond to meet all your needs, many before you even know what you need! The home is gorgeous, with space for everyone to sleep, relax, eat and enjoy the view. We loved sitting in all the porches and enjoying the views, usually with a freshly brewed coffee or tea. We stayed here for our son’s VMI graduation, and I would recommend this location to anyone with an event in the area. "

"We wish we could give the staff more than 5 stars, truly some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced. On more than one occasion, they went above and beyond their normal duties to make sure we were taken care of. When my wife became ill the night before our departure and all the luggage carts were in use, a staff member (Christine) personally helped us move our bags without hesitation. It was an act of kindness we won’t forget. The bar and restaurant staff were equally incredible; they were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Steph and Brittney treated us like friends, not just customers, and made every meal feel like a relaxing, personal experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but it’s the people who made our stay exceptional. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely stay here again."
