"Wow, what an amazing property! We rented a beautiful apartment that was originally created in the 13th century but was very updated and comfortable. Kitchen space had fridge/freezer and oven/range and was stocked with dishes and pans. The on site restaurant was fantastic and the best food we've had in Italy. Beautiful pool and each apartment has their own private changing room at the pool. Really helpful staff, Iwish we would have stayed longer! IMPORTANT NOTE- don't use google maps to navigate...

"Truly remarkable experience in an 800 year old castle. The grounds are beautiful and include olive trees on the farm. Great views. Quaint experience with the owners who run the castle as a bed and breakfast. Our suite easily accommodated our family of five. We are grateful for the intimate breakfast the following morning. "My wife and I chose this property as it was reasonably close to Volterra - the Hilltop city we were visiting the following day. One major problem was locating the property using our GPS system.
