Mona Montreux

10/10 Excellent

"We’ve opted for an upgrade to a connecting rooms as we travelled with 2 kids, aged 13 and 9. The service was excellent. The lounge area was comfortable and welcoming, while we chill as we wait for the room to be ready. They also provide complimentary drinks and popcorn which the kids loved. The rooms were clean, spacious and came with stunning views. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We loved the hotel experience and will be back if we’re back in montreux."

"Our room set up was fantastic. Great space and view. It is dated and the carpets really need to be replaced as well as some new lights need to be added to the bathroom. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Location was excellent with the exception of all the set up of the Montreux Jazz festival (of which the hotel warned me of but I had no idea of the magnitude of the event). We would stay again!"

"Really friendly and helpful staff here, easy check in process. Simple room well ventilated with window to open as well as a fan. Eu adapters didn’t fit here but thankfully reception staff were able to help us with this the morning of check out. Really great location super central for shops and restaurants, station also a short walk away. The lake less than 4 min walk! The shower was a little troublesome it had to be angled very strangely and still didn’t get the full benefit. Not a huge amount of space in the bathroom but perfectly fine for one night!"

"The view from our unit was to die for! It was just breathtaking - Literally one of the top highlights of our entire trip. Our unit was a condo with a kitchen, living room bedroom and bathroom. Which is more than what I was expecting. It is rustic alpine decor. Both the living room and bedroom had sliding doors to the balcony. It was a two night stay, we wish it were longer. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English. The only small negatives was the unit could have used a box of tissues and maybe a roll of paper towels in the kitchen. The shower also leaked a bit onto the bathroom floor. Minor stuff. I would stay here again. I took so many pictures off our balcony, because it was so beautiful no matter what time of day. We could also watch the paragliders land in the field below. It is a short walk to town and there is a hiking trail that starts next to the hotel. I’m from Colorado and I’m used to beautiful mountains. But Chamonix just blew me away. And our balcony views were part of this amazing experience."

"The view from the lake-facing room was amazing! Our room was comfortable and clean; the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is walking distance from two train stations, Epesses and Cully, with great rail connections. The road and railway traffic is pretty noisy and constant. Parking is limited. Overall a great place to stay, with easy connections/drive to Lausanne, Vevey, Montreux and Geneva."
