"We loved our stay at The Monterey Hotel! The building has beautiful historic charm with modern comforts—clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly, welcoming staff. The location is unbeatable—right in downtown Monterey, within walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We didn’t use our car once! Morning coffee and pastries were a nice touch, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking to experience the heart of Monterey."

"Overall, we had a great stay with ocean view and decent accommodations. The staff team was very accommodating and helpful. We had some issues with coffee makers but they provided us with coffee while fixing it. We could not turn off bathroom fan so had to close the door. Very close for kayak rentals."
