"Hotel is in a good location near the Wharf. Ample parking lot with a clean pool and spa. Rooms are fine, CLEAN and neat. Shower was hot and clean! Lounge area has a bar and serves food (we did not eat dinner just had drinks. Free breakfast was included that is a great perk and it was clean and tidy self serving food. Lots of options eggs, oatmeal, bagels and everything in between. Everyone we encountered was NICE and pleasant to talk to. Local area has restaurants with in walking distance. In a very last minute trip I searched 7 places in Monterey, and Hotel Abrego had the best reviews at a very fair price and overall prices in area with the same ratings."

"Overall pretty decent stay, room was clean but they don’t have overnight staff, and no weekend cleaning. Pool is heated which is awesome. Parking lot is a little weird "

"I think that the staff was courteous and ver pleasantly attentive. Ther were 2 issues at the restaurant with items appearing on our bill or someone elses bill. Everything is in walking distances and the spa is excellent. Kudos to cj and Anthony our masseuse. Overall 4.5 stars. "
