Comfortable bed, beautiful clean bathroom, secluded balcony to chill out on, delicious breakfast served by our host. Giacomo is full of tips for the places to visit, along with where to eat local. We hired bikes at 5€ per hour to cycle around the city walls. At around 4km, it was a gentle way to view the city from every angle. We took a two hour walking tour...

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...
