"Excellent hotel. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Executive king room was very nice, shower with good water pressure. Small elevator but worked fine. Easy walk into historic Siena. We traveled by train and directions provided by hotel staff from train station to hotel were spot on. Be aware escalators in shopping mall go on and on! But are efficient in getting you to upper level where road is to hotel. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Great restaurant just down the street called Osteria Rusticamente that has from scratch food and reasonable priced. Lovely husband and wife owned."

We stayed at the San Bartolomeo House, an impressive two-story accommodation with the master suite on the upper floor—thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed. Breakfast at Borgo Pignano is world-class, and the lower pool offers one of the most breathtaking views we’ve ever seen. To our surprise, the estate even includes a museum filled with antique cars and motorcycles—an unexpected and delightful touch. But what truly stood out to us was the evident love and care that owner Michael Moritz has poured into this place. We were told he knows every staff member by name. That might seem ordinary, but for someone of his stature, it reflects a rare level of humility and personal investment. My wife and I were genuinely impressed by the meticulous attention to detail throughout the property. Borgo Pignano is a treasure in every sense"

"The hotel is well located near the city, has a gorgeous view and it is very quiet place during night. The pool Needs better care and to be heated, it is too cold in April, the garden needs a better maintenance and the service staff restaurant needs a more polite supervisor Asap. "

"This hotel is a fabulous place to stay right in San Gimignano. The room had a spectacular view out over the Tuscan countryside. As it was right inside the walls everything was right there and it was particularly nice early in the morning and in the evening when the crowds have thinned."

"We stayed one night while walking the Via Francigena trail. The hotel is located in a perfect spot right in the middle of the main square in beautiful San Gimignano. You are near all.the restaurants, shops and attractions bu it was still very quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and professional. The breakfast was great offering lots of variety. We would definitely recommend this hotel."
