"We thought we would give this local hotel a chance since we are visiting family on the same side of the island, but have been quite disappointed. The beds are old style Japanese, which means you sleep on a very hard mattress (like a box spring). They brought an "extra pad" for the beds, but it isn't even noticeable and is painful to sleep on if you're used to an American mattress.
