"Our room was very small and very basic. The was soft and comfortable. Staff friendly. Nice touch was the fridge with refreshments (beer ,whine etc available based on honor system, which was a very nice touch. Prices very reasonably. We didn’t use it as we had our own supplies (large grocery store right next door). The biggest surprise was the breakfast, which was included in the price. "The hotel stay was pleasant. Very clean, convenient free parking right at the hotel, breakfast was plenty. Optional dinner on most days. You can start your hikes right at the hotel. I liked the guest kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker and filled refrigerator. The hotel takes the risk counting on honest guests. I really felt good about it. "I didn’t realize this was more of a B&B than a hotel. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, so my expectations were a little off. It is an older home with a small, skinny staircase to get to the rooms, and the family who owns it lives there. That said, the room was like a little apartment. It was comfortable with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Furniture wasn’t new, but comfortable. Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a little small.
