"My wife and I stayed at the Maldron while on the third leg of our trip. Unfortunately the first night there was a little incident that made us slight uncomfortable however the staff was quick to help us straighten things out and provide us with a new bedroom. Overall the stay was pleasant however like most have reviewed, the hotel can be very hot throughout the night but as long as you open the windows, it should be quite comfortable. "

"The property was perfectly located. We read many reviews about parking being an issue. The reason the parking is a few blocks away is because the area near the hotel becomes mostly pedestrian at night creating a great scene for vacationers. There is a loading zone directly in front the hotel so you don’t have to lug your luggage. The bar was excellent with live music. This is a luxury hotel and would stay again on our next trip to Cork. "

It wasn’t too bad with the window closed, but without air conditioning in the summer, that can be really warm in the room. One note about limerick for newbies like us, all the nicer restaurants stop serving food at 9pm - so get in town early or eat on the road before 7-8 pm! "
