"The hotel was ok but the floorboards in the bedrooms creaked badly, breakfast wasn’t served until 8am at the weekend. We wouldn’t stay at this hotel again it’s not value for money."

"Lovely hotel, clean and modern. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the extra £15 for car parking. Don’t pay it - there are lots of local streets within 5 minute walk where you can park for free."

"The hotel is very tired and needs updating, however it was clean, comfortable and the staff were lovely. The food was excellent even though it was only myself and my wife who ate in the dinning room whilst we were there. The hotel does takeaway food and there was a steady stream of cars coming in to pick up meals which is a testament to the quality. The position of the hotel was great for our needs. It is outside of Oxford but transport links are very good. We are in the process of looking for property in the area and we would have no worries about staying there again whilst we are looking, and will go back there to eat once we have found a place to move to."

"Location was excellent, with easy access to everything I needed. The host was genuinely helpful and kind, which made the stay much smoother. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed my time there. There was also a pleasant garden in front of the room, which was a great spot to relax, especially if you want to step outside for a smoke."

"Lovely hotel. Warm welcome on arrival. Very clean hotel. Room was big, bed was super comfy and bathroom was lovely. Unfortunately we had water issues in our bathroom where the tap and shower had barely any water and couldn’t even flush the toilet. Staff were responsive but unfortunately we were in a rush for a wedding so did not have time to move rooms."

"Great location, just minutes away from the river and the town centre. The apartment is well equipped with everything that you could need. The chaise longue in the bedroom is ideal for an afternoon nap, or lazily reading a book. The town is a delight with history, good shops and restaurants and markets on Monday and Friday. One of those places that makes you consider returning."
