"Owned by the Manchester Brewery JW Lees. Booked this as a one night stop over while visiting family. Sick and tired of the big named hotels and this place looked like a good alternative. "Having read the reviews I was a little concerned that staying here was a poor choice but I was pleasantly surprised. Double room was indeed dated in terms of decor but all still in good condition with all one could need. Super comfy bed, spacious room, good ensuite and big TV. Wardrobe, hair dryer, tea and coffee and bedside lamp so all good. Would definitely go back. "

"We stsyed to do avtivities with friends. When we arrived there was very little space for parking but your excellent staff encouraged us to park in a place that we didn't think we should use. They assured me that it was okay to do so.The e staff were very helpful throughout our entire visit. Our room was lovely and right next to the river and weir, it was spacious and clean. "2nd year running we have stayed here for one night. The welcome is lovely, the room was excellent and fairly large compared to say the chain hotels, everything you could wish for provided - kettle, water etc….Food is really good and very large portions so beware you need to be hungry especially at breakfast and not just the “Full breakfast”. "We were greeted by Vicky and the reception desk and she was amazing, really helpful and as the day we were going it was very windy so we set off early.
