"First off, this is an historic resort, and it is not air conditioned. Our room had a tower fan that ran continually and as soon as it cooled down at night, we got the windows open. Second, this is not a resort for small children, as there isn’t really much for them to do - no pool, no playground. However it is an excellent place for adults to use as a base of operations for exploring in the area. Great breakfast, a wonderful main lodge and patio, as well as a porch swing out front. As a historic building be prepared to see the age, in some creaky boards in the walkways, and a bit of a struggle to get the windows open or closed. But it’s all so worth it! We will certainly be back."

We enjoyed our meals on the spacious deck and loved sitting right beside the river to just be. Rekha and Shyam were wonderful hosts. They answered our questions immediately and checked in with us often. I hope I will be lucky enough to come back to this part of the country to stay here again. There is so much to do and the countryside is beautiful. "
