The woman at the front desk (Sharon) was the nicest person I have ever spoken to in my life. I called the day before my check-in as I was planning to arrive later than when the front desk was open (they close at 9pm) and she was so pleasant and sweet on the phone. She gave me detailed instructions on how to get what I needed upon arrival to get into my room and where to park on the premises. We had a 1 BR apt on the ground floor next to the road. With the BR in the rear traffic noise was not a problem for sleeping. There is a great view of Lake Taupo across the road and watching the sunsets was great. The management was excellent and had lots of suggestions on what to do and where to eat and shop. Free laundry was a plus and managemnet even moved our laundry from washer to dryer when we were a little late getting back. Would definitely stay here again. Dining and shopping nearby...
