Find hotels near Midtown Plaza, Saskatoon from SAR 185

"The entrance of the hotel was nice, as was the lounge area. The room was clean, however the bathroom was horrific. One half of our shower door was missing, and I dont mean it was that type of shower… it legit had a hole in the surround that was clearly where a door used to be attached. The ceiling tiles were all clearly damaged with water and one was even being held up by a shampoo bottle. The tap in the shower went from freezing cold to scalding hot and was near impossible to find a suitable temperature. If we would have been staying more than one night, I would have asked for a different room. The location of the hotel felt safe and they had plenty of parking. We ate at the lounge and the food was decent. Breakfast buffet was lacking but did the job."

"Breakfast consisted of an egg salad sandwhich in saran wrap,a small celophane wrapped banana muffin and a juice box. Went to get them for our room(3 people) and they only had 1. They did get us more but they had to be made up(somewhere?) Our daughters room(2 people) went to get theirs and they had 1 again they left and made up another. Their internet(tv did not work the entire stay(2 nights). The staff tried but ultimately it was a lack of internet that was the problem(hotel didn't have a proper internet package to service needs). Our tv did not work the second day. Also Cockroaches in both rooms. Dirty everything. Squished cockroach on the tub tiles. And started seeing live ones when you knew they were present. We've stayed in questionable accomadations in Mexico, Italy, India etc and this was definitly the worst. Unfortunatley we are in Saskatoon to visit Dad, Grandpa at end of life and budget didnt allow us to leave. Something going on in city and just about everything booked up. Motel 6 wanted close to $400/night per room. We had prebooked this place as soon as we knew Dads situation. Did I mention that this is a hotel that rents rooms by the hour if you know what I mean. Had no issues with the staff just a disgusting dirty cockroach infested place "

"Very good hotel in a decent part of Saskatoon. Breakfast at the Aroma restaurant was well worth it. Would definitely recommend."

"The overall state of the alt was good. The unfortunate part on Sundays they have no place to eat breakfast. When you have a hotel sold out to capacity and can’t eat on site. You are forced to wander around the streets of Saskatoon, trying to find a restaurant. not very conducive for a hotel of this size when you have all your travellers leaving on Sunday trying to make flight flights "

"The hotel is super convenient for location. With 3 elevators I would have expected it to be a bit quicker? Seemed a little dated and in need of some upgrades. But all in all a fine hotel."

"The hot tub had way too much chlorine in it. It burned my eyes. I couldn’t stay in it very long. Other than that I prefer Sandman Signature stays."
