"Comfortable beds"

"Very impressed with the staff at this property, especially the guy in reception, so friendly and helpful, this was our second stay and they had stored our bags while we were on the Overland Track for a week, delighted on return that our bags had been put in the room ready for us. We had a one bedroom apartment, very spacious, with a full kitchen and laundry. "On first appearance it seems like they are upgrading the front of the motel. I believe it was very messy when they bought it and it is still a work in progress. The rooms are immaculate. The view took me straight to our private balcony. Absolutely stunning view straight across the lake to the sea. I’d heard some people caught a kg of prawns in the lake in front of us the day before. The King size bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on in our whole trip. Extras pillows if we wanted....

"We arrived for our stay in Hobart and waited until 2pm for check in. When we got to Hobart Apartments, there was nobody in reception, so i rang the number on the door. I was then informed that the room was leaking and unavailable for us to stay in and that we should have been informed of this 2 weeks prior but never were. We were basically left stranded with an 8wk old baby and nowhere to stay and when i told them that all she said was "google somewhere else". Very poor service from Hobart...

"Chalets are great, fire was going when we got there. Louise the manager could brush up on her customer skills. Derwent Bridge Hotel 700mt away has great meals. "
