"Beautiful entrance, bar and terrace. All extensions sympathetically mirroring the original house with modern facilities. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfy beds! The air conditioning was noisy but you could turn it off. Staff all very helpful. Overall a very good choice for a two night stay nearby local attractions."

"The grounds and the hotel were absolutely stunning! We were delighted with our bedroom suite. The hotel can boast an interesting history; on the wall in the restaurant is a wooden plaque, with a gilded list of previous head girls from 1937 when the hotel was run as a school. The beautiful stained glass windows on the staircase are evidence of the previous importance of the building.
