"The building has been renovated to a very high standard and kept the original structure intact, preserving the architectural features of the former council chambers. The staff were excellent, the food delightful and the bar experience benefitted with the unique surroundings."
"Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was ok and nice way to start the day, the bar was good with draft beer and the Sofia pizza I had was very good.
I would say a car is needed if you plan to stay here and visit York or other places, or if you are happy to get taxis. The park and ride was only 10 minutes away to get into York.

"I loved the room every thing we needed, if we stayed longer we would of made more of the kitchen. At least if we stayed again we know what to take, it was a mini apartment with a well equipped kitchen .It has good staff and parking on site lovely breakfast."
