Having stayed at White Point multiple times, I can say this time the food was not up to previous standards. Others in the restaurant did not seem to be overwhelmingly happy either. The service took over an hour to get our meal and then my fish and chips were soggy, and the chicken fingers were overcooked. "My husband and I stayed at this lakeside retreat in early May. Our son in law's family have a cottage down the road. While we spent most of our day in the other cottage, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Lakeside retreat. It is very well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed working on a few puzzles and listening to music on the Google Home Sound system. We hope to come again one day with our granddaughters and swim in the Medway river and Ponhook lake."
