"Our hotel stay was exceptional and very good. The only problem we had was the aircon didnt work. The hotel offerd to change rooms if we wanted but also gave us a complimentary breakfast for two nights. This was a bonus. Would stay here again. The hotel is very central near shops restaurants and cardiff queen st train station."

"We love coming to Celtic Manor this is our favourite place as we got married at the lodge there back in 2010 . We normally book through the main website but as times are hard we looked at an alternate site which was exactly the same as the main site saving us £80 . We always enjoy our time at Celtic Manor "

"Love this hotel its really nice.chef had to come and kick the bathroom door in as the lock jammed and my partner was stuck in there a hour but thats no reflection on the hotel.the one thing that disturbed me was i booked a double room it was a twin when i got in they swiftly changed it to a double i knew this as id extended my stay and theyd kindly not turfed me out at 11 to come back in at 3 but on the last night the double mattress had been changed to 2 single mattresses which is not right and very uncomfortable id spoke to the man cleaner and told him not to go in i didnt need my bedroom cleaned but it bothers me that they obviously did go in change the mattresses around and tried to put the bedding back as it was ,id left it scrufferly unmade that made me feel like theyd waited for us to go out instead of telling us and sneaked in probably looking out for us coming back and then we saw the man cleaner again when we came back and a very strange thing was said (im glad i didnt have to go into your room it saved me time )there was no need for this comment so that told me everything. But nothing to do with anything else i love the hotel"

"The service was exceptional from beginning to end of the stay. On arrival despite a panic alarm having been sounded elsewhere in the property the staff member was calm, professional and friendly throughout. Special mention to the Starbucks staff who greeted us with a warm friendliness on the two occasions we visited. Overall excellent hotel. "
