"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"Lovely quiet holiday in the country, and still on the Algarve, not an English breakfast or fish and chips in sight, the accommodation is great and suited us well, plenty of room to site out on the patio's and enjoy the sunshine. It's a five mile drive to get to the shops so a car is a necessity, there is a little Portuguese cafe / bar just down the road that does nice coffee. "We loved our stay at the Benagil beach house. The view from the deck is incredible. Being able to walk to the beach in one minute is awesome. However, a few things to know before you go: 1. Communication is with a property management company and we asked for more blankets, toilet paper, and did not receive. The maid only comes once a week so if you miss that date for requests, nothing else will come. 2. It’s tricky with a car! It’s lots of stairs to get to so pack wisely and bring grocery bags...

"Thank you Helena, We stayed for just five nights, we needed a quiet break away and this Villa was perfect. It was very clean and tidy and the pool was wonderful. The Villa is old and rustic, authentically Portuguese with antique but adequate furniture. The kitchen is dated and unfortunately has no cupboards for food storage, just the fridge but it is clean and there is a dishwasher which is great after using the coal fired BBQ. "Have just had a lovely stay in Casa Pedro. What a perfect location. Everything you would need in walking distance. The view from the balcony wonderful and lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Stairs a little steep but had been told about that and bedroom a bit tight but again was already aware of this. All in all a lovely holiday and property would go again."

The apartment had everything we needed. There is adequate storage, great pool and lovely views of the country side. The village of Algoz was only 5 minutes away, Algoz had a nice supermarket, cafe and bakery. We will definitely stay there again, location was great as it was away from the busy parts of the Algarve."
