"Great communication but there was a misunderstanding, when booking through Expedia. I had to pay again at the hotel when I had already paid through Expedia site. It looked like I was double charged and it took over a week for the extra charge to fall off on my credit card. "

The room was not cleaned the whole time we stayed there, no change of towels (they are very strict on 2 per room and no more) etc. otherwise clean, comfortable bed, and we felt very safe. With fan on, traffic noise was muted. Overall not worth the price. A friend stayed at the Barcelo a few blocks away for 9 nights for the same price we paid for 4. Lesson learned."

"The hotel is pretty nice and, though it may be noisy on the street, the sound proofing worked wonders. It is important to make an appointment for check-in/payment by cc. Although there is a person at the small front desk to check you in and help with any needs, a higher up must be called in to run any credit card payment. The only issue we gad was that they were unable to find our reservation at first. Once they found it, they only had one room instead of 2."

Sad almost dead plant. Cheesy plastic orchid in bathroom. No information about great local history and culture resources. Apparently no staff training. But I'd stay again."

Maria, the cleaner, was a lovely woman and went out of her way to accomodate our requests. The security men at the entrance made us feel secure within the unit as well. "I was really surprised to find the place looked exactly like the photos, and was bigger than I imagined! I felt like I could live there long-term. The kitchen was stocked w every type of dish and cookware you could need. TV had ability to connect to your video and music apps very easily. My only issue was there wasn’t enough air circulation with only one window opening — my nose got stuffy a lot — but the fan helped. Very clean and incredible location."

"The hotel is clean. The room has everything you need. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The window can be opened. The hotel was quite calm. Every day 2 small bottles of water were left in the room for free. There is a cafe on the ground floor. Breakfast is available for a fee. But there is a problem: the kitchen workers do not speak English and it is quite difficult to explain your order.
