Ryder Cup
"Was a good basi hotel. Used it as home base for the Ryder Cup and served its purpose perfectly. Neighbourhood had ample pubs and places to eat and only about 30 mins to Penn Stn by train. All and all a nice low frills option."

"Very clean room but a.c in the room stop Working the second night. We called the front desk and no one came to check on it. The lights by the door also didn’t work after the first night but no one came to check it etc."

Merrick is okay however, this motel is on the boarder line between Merrick & Freeport ( which is a town that has good & bad areas) I don't think we will be returning.
